flyingpenguinRECEPTIONIST

For the calls that arrive while you’re working.

You might be under a car, halfway through a haircut or already talking to someone. We can look at which calls need another route while you get on with the job.

During the working day.

The receptionist can take an enquiry using your service information and the questions we agree. Start with the situations that interrupt you most. We check the phone routing so you know when the receptionist answers and when your own phone rings.

Outside your opening hours.

Call handling can use different information when the business is closed, such as when someone should expect a reply or how to request an appointment. Overnight or weekend routing depends on the setup. It does not create round-the-clock human support or emergency cover.

For businesses with a diary.

A salon, workshop or similar business may want callers to ask for appointments. We check the booking system and agree whether it can book directly or take a request. The four examples on the homepage are scripts, so the named times and bookings are fictional.

For a job that needs assessing.

Some enquiries need photographs, a site visit or your own judgement before a price or time is agreed. The receptionist can gather the initial details and explain the next step. It should not invent a quote, diagnosis or availability.

Choose a first use you can check.

A focused starting point makes the call rules easier to test. Bring your current number, the enquiries you want help with and where you want the details to go. I can then explain what fits the service and what needs a separate arrangement.
